Karridale is a small township just north of Augusta and south of Margaret River between Caves Road and Bussell Highway. A newer township was built a short distance north east of the original Old Karridale following fires that destroyed the town in 1961. It is in a fantastic setting surrounded by natural bushland only 20 minutes south of Margaret River and just 10 minutes from the majestic Blackwood River and two of WA's finest beaches - beautiful Hamelin Bay and wild Boranup.

Karridale was built on the back of the majestic karri and jarrah trees that now border its western edge along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge and is rich in history as it was once the hub of the South-West during the timber rush at the turn of the century.

The picturesque Boranup Forest, Hamelin Bay and Deepdene are at its doorstep, and there is Hamelin Grove, the attractive boutique small scale lifestyle subdivision emerging on the east side of the highway, providing the ultimate in down south living on large half to three quarter acre size blocks.

The town services include a general store, tavern and petrol station/convenience store, with cafes and winery restaurants close by.
